Undersea critters, yes. A'Tuin? I doubt it. These are photographs from....... Birmingham, amazingly. Not at all what I expected she would find there (and my expectation is the reason I said I wouldn't want to be there - but perhaps I have misjudged Birmingham, never having been). As well as a big aquarium it has a fine monorail too, apparently. I have never though of it as a weekend away destination though. She is visiting friends and having a good time.
I just knew it was a photo of a turtle in a SeaLife centre, they are rather similar in there presentation. I remembered my post of the turtle in the Birmingham SeaLife centre, hence my first comment ;-)

ReplyDeleteIt is A'Tuin! you shouldn't dismiss him so easily, it might have dire consequences...

Birmingham is a good place to visit and I do visit often, there many things of interest including the SeaLife centre where A'Tuin resides.
But I have no desire to live there I am not a city person.
Well identified then, Cherie!

ReplyDeleteI do love them - but would much, much rather swim with them in their natural habitat.
ReplyDeleteAgreed Sue. I very rarely visit animals in captivity. I just don't like it.
