Just mud beneath actually, in this wide ditch at the side of a field. I liked the reflections off the ripples blown up by the strong wind.
Ripples and reflections on water surfaces are always interesting and a little be mesmerising the case of reflections.
I am endlessly fascinated by water. Clear, muddy, flowing or still. And the sheen on those ripples is almost like burnished copper. Wonderful.
It looks like snow on a field.
