Beautiful scenes from another cold day. As I wandered out to get the papers this morning the grass crackled and broke under my feet. Heat and lack of rain is burning off our vegetation - fast. I prefer the cold anyway but your photos this morning game me another reason to yearn for your weather.
Although I do sometimes moan about being too cold, especially out in a cold wind, I detest being too hot much more (not that this happens much in Scotland -I am remembering Rome in July). At least when cold you can put on more clothes. Lying in bed at night when too hot and breathing in hot air and knowing it's only going to be hotter in the morning, was troubling.
It looks very pretty :-)
I certainly didn't like the semi tropical climate I experienced in Houston, Texas. Specially the large variety of insects, all sizes and colours and snakes hiding in the garden. I love the different aspects of four seasons.
Very nice photos, Andrew.
Ach I can really do without winter.I just don't like the cold
