First snow

Nine minutes past midnight and I noticed the first snow of the winter was falling. I rushed out in my pyjamas (pajamas for foreign visitors) and Wellington boots to take this photo. Me in my pyjamas and wellies in the snow might have been a better photo. Lucky I didn't get arrested or carted off to the asylum. I wonder if it'll be a big fall or just a dusting. I wait for what the morning brings. Hopefully not a visit from the police, or the medics.

  1. The men in white coats would have had more reason to call if you had rushed out without your pj's. The falling snow looks so beautiful in the lamp light. Many thanks.

  3. They are threatening some here, but I haven't seen any signs yet!

    Very pretty :-)

  4. PYjamas? Really? It's 70 degrees here near Chicago, as we wear shorts and claim that local effects don't indicate a global trend. ;-)

  5. They are indeed pyjamas in English Paul, a language I believe you are trying to learn :) Also known colloquially as jimjams and pjs. Too flimsy to protect my delicate parts out in the cold for long, whatever language we use. Enjoy the warmth while it lasts. That's a bit amazing for Chicago in December though, isn't it?

  6. It is turning to hard ice now, with some possibility of more snow in the morning. My students want a blizzard that would close the college (much as they love me, of course)

  7. Love this soft snow photo.

No snow in Toronto yet, and very warm
for December. Rain and 13C tomorrow.
