Soon be bare poles.
Soon be budding new leaves again.
Actually some in the last shot are evergreens, so no bare winter for those defiant and hardy species, although no luxuriant spring and summer either. I prefer deciduous.
I never tire of looking at the sky and at trees. It's a never still story, minute by minute. Even a bare tree is always eloquent. And not one looks like the other.
And I can hear and sense the delicious crunch of the leaves. Wonderfully evocative post. Thank you.
We just experienced a hurricane...all our trees were stripped bare. My yard is a carpet of leaves..Your photographs are wonderful..
